When I was looking into creating this website the number 1 question that I kept getting asked was: Why? People wanted to know if I was looking for more work, showing off my best videos, a place to present my photography or something else. To be honest it is all of the above.
I started this idea more than 3 years ago towards the end of 2020. Burnt out and needing a change I moved into a directing role. Finally working in the position I wanted I knew 2020 would be the year to really push my career forward. Enter Covid.
With the working from home and stop start nature of the lockdowns my directing career was off to a slow start. Thankfully we were still able to produce some content and moving into 2021 and especially 2022 things really started rolling. The busier I got as a director the more my hobbies and personal projects got pushed to the wayside. And this website wasn’t touched in 3 years.
Heading in to 2023 I felt like it was the perfect time to pick this back up again. Call it a resolution if you like but I am allocating a little time every week to make sure I keep this up to date. What that looks like I haven’t decided yet but it will be new work, some of my photography and some of my ramblings about directing, film, photography, and life.
